The Poco F8 Ultra recently made waves after appearing in the Geekbench database, revealing its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Now, attention shifts to the Poco F8 Pro, which has also been spotted running Geekbench, confirming its flagship-grade chipset and hinting at its specifications.
The Geekbench listing for the Poco F8 Pro prototype shows it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. While this is the tested configuration, official models may offer additional memory options at launch.
The smartphone will arrive running Android 16 with Xiaomi’s custom HyperOS 3 skin layered on top, delivering the latest software experience. It has also passed various certification processes, and its retail box leaked recently, boasting "Sound by Bose" branding — a promising audio feature.
Rumors suggest the Poco F8 Ultra could be a rebranded Redmi K90 Pro Max, and if historical precedents hold, the Poco F8 Pro may very well be a rebranded Redmi K90. If so, it will likely feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1156x2510 pixels, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, an ultra-low 2,560Hz PWM for reduced flicker, and an impressive peak brightness of 3,500 nits.
The device is expected to offer up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the triple rear camera setup: a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, there should be a 20MP selfie shooter.
Powering the phone will be a sizable 7,100 mAh battery with fast wired charging support at 100W, ensuring that users can quickly juice up their device and enjoy sustained usage throughout the day.
