Nubia is gearing up to expand its smartphone lineup with a new budget-friendly device, the Nubia S2R, which has recently surfaced online thanks to prominent leakster Evan Blass.
The leaked images showcase the back of the Nubia S2R, highlighting its single rear camera paired with an LED flash. This design choice indicates a focus on affordability and simplicity in camera setup compared to some of Nubia’s other models.

On the front, the device sports a display featuring a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, surrounded by relatively thick bezels. The right side of the handset houses the volume and power buttons along with an additional button, which may be dedicated for quick camera access or a customizable shortcut.

The SIM card slot is situated on the left side of the phone according to the leaked images. Beyond these design elements, no further specifications or pricing details have been disclosed yet.
For context, Nubia’s recently launched V80 Design model carries a distinct aesthetic reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro from the rear. It features a 6.75-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery, a 50MP rear camera, and is powered by the Unisoc T7280 chipset.
