The upgrade also requires no additional installation fees or equipment charges, making the transition seamless for users.
Why Fiber Internet Is the Next Step Up
T-Mobile leverages excess capacity on its 5G network to deliver home internet via fixed wireless access. However, 5G Home Internet coverage is not yet available in all regions due to limited network capacity, leading to a waiting list exceeding one million potential customers.
While T-Mobile has partnered with fiber providers for some time, the company officially entered the fiber market in June, following acquisitions of fiber companies Lumos and MetroNet.
