The newly-launched Honor Magic8 Pro will have different battery capacities in different regions, with a significant reduction for the model sold in Europe. While the global variant will have a 7,100mAh battery, the EU version will only have a 6,270mAh battery. This 12% decrease in battery size will likely impact battery life for European users compared to those in other regions.
Despite the smaller battery capacity, the EU variant of the Magic8 Pro still boasts a fairly large battery compared to its predecessor, the Magic7 Pro (EU version). The Chinese models also offer higher wired charging rates of 120W, while the global and EU models have a slightly lower rate of 100W. Wireless charging remains the same at 80W for all versions.
