Google Photos has introduced the popular Nano Banana feature from Gemini AI into its platform, allowing users to easily request specific edits to their photos. With the new "Help me edit" option in the editor, users can communicate their editing preferences directly to Nano Banana for seamless enhancements.

In addition, Google Photos now offers a "Create with AI" section featuring pre-made AI templates powered by Nano Banana. Users can explore and apply these templates without needing to come up with their own prompts, streamlining the editing process. This feature is currently being rolled out in the US and India.

Furthermore, personalized templates tailored to individual interests and experiences will be available in the US in the upcoming weeks. These templates utilize insights from the user's photo gallery to create unique edits that reflect their hobbies and memories.

Google Photos also brings the convenient Ask Photos tool to over 100 new countries and regions, supporting 17 additional languages for enhanced accessibility. The tool enables users to search their gallery using natural language queries, providing accurate results and efficient photo management.

Enhancing the user experience further, Google Photos introduces an Ask button for instant information about photo content, along with a redesigned photo editor that includes the ability to describe desired edits. This feature is now available on iOS in the US.
