Galaxy S26 Ultra has been the subject of numerous rumors regarding its camera specifications. However, renowned Samsung insider Ice Universe has stepped in to set the record straight and provide accurate details about the upcoming device.
Ice Universe refuted recent leaks that suggested the Galaxy S26 Ultra would feature a new 12 MP telephoto sensor. Instead, he revealed the finalized camera setup for the device, which includes:
  • 200MP main camera (f/1.4, 1/1.3-inch sensor, 0.6μm pixels)
  • 50MP ultrawide (f/1.9, 1/2.52-inch sensor, 0.7μm pixels)
  • 50MP 5x telephoto (f/2.9, 1/2.52-inch sensor, 0.7μm pixels)
  • 10MP 3x telephoto (f/2.4, 1/3.94-inch sensor, 1.0μm pixels)
Ice Universe debunked claims of a larger sensor for the 3x telephoto camera, citing design files that show the slimmed-down body of the S26 Ultra. He also clarified that the device will feature a 5,000 mAh battery, contrary to false reports of a larger 5,400 mAh battery.
If Ice Universe's information is accurate, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will see improvements in aperture sizes for the main and telephoto lenses, enhancing low-light performance. The device is expected to debut in February 2026, offering potential upgrades in overall camera performance and design.
