Galaxy S26 Ultra will sport curvier corners compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, moving away from the Note-inspired design. The edges, however, will not be as rounded as those of the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The screen protector for the Galaxy S25 Ultra appears slightly larger, indicating that the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be taller and wider than its predecessor. The new model is projected to be 163.4mm tall, slightly taller than the 162.8mm Galaxy S25 Ultra, with a width increase from 77.6mm to 77.9mm. While not a significant change, it will be noticeable. The display size will remain at 6.9 inches.

Additional Changes to Expect

Galaxy S26 Ultra will also be thinner and may feature a pill-shaped camera module for three of its four rear cameras. Despite being thinner, the overall thickness might exceed that of the Galaxy S25 Ultra due to the camera bump. The device's weight is anticipated to be around 217 grams, slightly lighter than its predecessor.

Changes Come at a Cost

Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to offer enhanced performance with a faster chipset and improved camera sensors. However, rising component costs may lead to an increase in the phone's retail price. With the Galaxy S25 Ultra already priced at $1,299, Samsung might face resistance from consumers if further price hikes occur. As the market competition grows, Samsung may struggle to meet its sales targets if pricing becomes a barrier for potential buyers.
