OpenAI's Sora app, known for its video-generation capabilities, has now been launched on the Android platform. Previously available only on iOS, the app can now be downloaded from the Google Play Store by users in select regions, including Canada, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and the US.
With the ability to create videos from text prompts and images, Sora offers a range of video styles, supports collaboration, allows users to remix content from others, and provides community features for sharing and discovering videos.
OpenAI has also removed the need for invite codes in certain areas, allowing users to start using Sora immediately.
