WhatsApp has recently introduced a new app specifically designed for the Apple Watch. This new app offers users the convenience of accessing basic WhatsApp functions directly from their wrist, without the need to take out their phone.
The new WhatsApp app for Apple Watch provides the ability to read complete messages, view more chat history, record and send voice messages, and react with quick emojis. Additionally, users can view high resolution images and stickers right from their Apple Watch.
Although call features are limited due to platform restrictions, users can still see incoming calls on their Apple Watch without needing to check their phone.
WhatsApp has promised ongoing developments and additional features for the Apple Watch app in the future, while maintaining end-to-end encryption for user security.
The WhatsApp app for Apple Watch is compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 and newer models running watchOS 10 or later.
