Sony Xperia 10 VII Receives Android 16 Update
Sony has rolled out the highly anticipated Android 16 update for the Xperia 10 VII, joining its predecessors like the Xperia 1 VII and Xperia 1 VI in receiving the latest software update. The Xperia 10 VII, released in September, is now getting the update over-the-air with build number 72.1.A.2.65.
The update brings a range of new features and improvements, including new Modes for blocking notifications, a Recommended option in display quality settings, enhanced screen white balance control, and the ability to toggle Side sense on and off. Additionally, users can now access lock screen settings from the home screen and check battery status more easily. Screen mirroring via the Cast function is also now available in the Quick settings panel.
This update is currently available in Europe and Japan, with more regions expected to receive it soon. Users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > About Phone > Software Update on their Xperia 10 VII device.
