T-Mobile Announces Changes to Free DashPass Offer

T-Mobile recently informed some customers that they are no longer eligible for the free DashPass subscription service that was initially offered. The company had started providing a free year of DashPass in July, but is now sending messages to certain customers regarding the change in eligibility.

Changes in Eligibility Criteria

Customers on plans such as Experience Beyond and Experience More are now the only ones eligible for the free DashPass subscription. Older plans like Simple Choice have been excluded from the promotion. T-Mobile has tightened its criteria, leading to some customers being notified of the change in their eligibility status.

Confusion Among Customers

Many customers who were initially promised two years of free DashPass are puzzled by the sudden change in eligibility requirements. Despite the initial commitment to offering two years of the subscription service, some customers are now being asked to cancel their free perk or switch to eligible plans.

Assurances from T-Mobile

T-Mobile has stated that customers who did not claim a free pass in early August may have been flagged as ineligible due to changes in the qualifying plans. The company is looking into the issue and aims to resolve any confusion among affected customers.
