Google has recently released a report stating that Android, powered by its AI technology, is more effective at preventing mobile scams compared to iOS. The data from various independent studies shows that Android users, especially those using Pixel devices, are better protected against spammy texts and calls.
What Did Google Find?

- Android users were 58% less likely than iOS users to receive scam texts in the previous week. For Pixel users, this likelihood increased to 96% compared to iPhone users.
- On the other hand, iOS users were 65% more likely to receive three or more scam texts in a week.
- Furthermore, iPhone users were 150% more likely to report their devices as "not effective at all" in preventing mobile fraud.
