A recent rumor suggests that vivo's upcoming S50 Pro mini variant will no longer use a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset as previously expected. Instead, it is rumored to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.
Similar to its predecessor, the S50 Pro mini is expected to be a compact flagship device with a 6.31-inch flat display featuring 1.5K resolution. Additionally, it is rumored to have a larger battery capacity than the vivo X300, which comes with a 6,040mAh cell.
Reports also suggest that the standard vivo S50 Pro will sport a 6.59-inch display and a metal frame, along with a periscope telephoto camera.
It is worth noting that the vivo S30 Pro mini was globally launched as the vivo X200 FE, so there is a possibility that the S50 Pro mini could debut as the X300 FE.
