Samsung recently announced its Q3 2025 earnings, reporting a consolidated revenue of KRW 86.1 trillion (€51.66b) and an operating profit of KRW 12.2 trillion (€7.32b). The company attributed a significant portion of its success to its Device Solutions division, particularly the semiconductor, chip, and memory business.
With the memory business experiencing record-high sales driven by demand for HBM3E and server SSDs, Samsung is looking ahead to mass-producing next-gen HBM4 memory in 2026. Additionally, the focus for Samsung Foundry in the upcoming year will be on scaling up production of advanced 2nm GAA nodes.
While Samsung's smartphone divisions saw success with the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, they did not perform as well as the chip business. On the other hand, the display and appliances segment recorded an operating loss despite strong revenue.
