Bigme, a well-known player in the E Ink device market, has introduced its HiBreak S smartphone, which combines a color E Ink display with LTE support and runs on Android 14. The device comes in two versions, one with a traditional monochrome E Ink display and another with a Kaleido 3 color E Ink panel, both measuring 5.84 inches and offering a 24Hz refresh rate and adjustable color temperature. The monochrome display has a resolution of 1,440 x 720 px, while the color version has a resolution of 480 x 240 px.
Both versions of the HiBreak S feature 4G LTE connectivity with dual-SIM support, powered by an eight-core chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device also includes a 5MP front-facing camera, a 13MP rear camera, and a 3,300 mAh battery. Running on Android 14, the HiBreak S provides access to Google Play services.
Available in Black and White colors, the monochrome model is priced at $249, while the color E Ink version is priced at $279.
