Nokia and Nvidia have unveiled a groundbreaking $1 billion partnership, with Nvidia making a substantial equity investment in Nokia. This investment will see Nvidia acquire a 2.90% stake in Nokia, paving the way for collaborative efforts in advancing AI-powered connectivity and networking solutions.

Nokia plans to use the proceeds from the investment to accelerate the development of its 5G and 6G RAN software to run on Nvidia's architecture. Additionally, Nokia will increase its presence in the AI & Cloud market with data center-aligned networking solutions.

Furthermore, the two tech giants will collaborate on AI networking solutions and explore integrating Nokia's data center switching and optical technologies into Nvidia's future AI infrastructure architecture. T-Mobile U.S. will also join the partnership to drive and test AI-RAN technologies as part of the 6G innovation process.

This strategic partnership aims to revolutionize the telecommunications industry, enabling the creation of intelligent, adaptive networks that will shape the future of global connectivity.
