Since its launch in early 2024, Samsung's Galaxy AI has been continuously adding support for new languages. The language support count increased to 16 in April 2024, followed by 20 in December of the same year.

Now, after some time, Galaxy AI has introduced support for two additional languages, Filipino and Gujarati. Users can download these language packs from the Settings app. Filipino is spoken by approximately 87 million people, while Gujarati is spoken by around 62.5 million individuals.

The development of the Filipino and Gujarati languages for Galaxy AI was a collaborative effort between Samsung Research centers in Indonesia and India. With the inclusion of these languages, Galaxy AI now supports a total of 22 languages, covering nearly 74% of the global population, which is equivalent to 5.9 billion people.

According to Samsung, more than 70% of Galaxy S25 users actively interact with Galaxy AI and Google Gemini, with 47% heavily relying on AI in their daily routines. The company anticipates expanding Galaxy AI to over 400 million devices by the end of this year, following the achievement of the 200 million devices milestone in 2024.
