The successor to the Redmi Turbo 4, the Redmi Turbo 5, is set to launch earlier than expected, possibly as soon as next month. Leaked details suggest that the new device will feature a metal frame, a simple camera design, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a larger battery compared to its predecessor.
Reports indicate that the Redmi Turbo 5 will be powered by a new MediaTek chip, positioning it as a 'flagship mid-tier' offering. Rumored specs include a 6.6" flat screen with "1.5K" resolution, a battery capacity ranging from 7,500 mAh to 9,000 mAh, and 100W wired charging support.
Additionally, the device is expected to have a thin and light design, good dust and water resistance, and may potentially be rebranded as the Poco X8 Pro for global markets.
