Apple has announced the launch of the upgraded 14” MacBook Pro and Vision Pro equipped with the latest M5 chip. The new M5 chip promises enhanced performance and efficiency, setting a new benchmark in the tech industry.
MacBook Pro 14” with M5 Chip
The new M5 MacBook Pro 14” boasts a 10-core CPU with improved performance units and efficiency units, along with a cutting-edge 10-core GPU featuring a Neural Accelerator in each core. Apple claims significant gains in AI workflows and multithreaded performance, as well as a notable increase in memory bandwidth.

Moreover, the M5 chip enables the 14” MacBook Pro to offer up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge, making it a powerhouse for users on the go. Other specifications such as the Liquid Retina XDR display, Center Stage webcam, and versatile I/O options remain unchanged from the previous model.

Starting at $1,599, the M5 MacBook Pro 14 is available for pre-order in select regions and will begin shipping from October 22.
Apple Vision Pro with M5 Chip
The Vision Pro has also received an upgrade with the new M5 chip, delivering improved pixel rendering and a higher refresh rate on its micro-OLED display. The M5 chip enhances AI performance for both first-party and third-party apps, while also improving battery endurance.

Additionally, Apple has introduced the Vision Pro Dual Knit Band, a new accessory that enhances the comfort and functionality of the Vision Pro headset.
Priced at $3,499, the M5 Vision Pro offers enhanced features and performance, catering to the needs of professional users. It will be available for purchase starting October 22.
