Realme has teased some exciting new features for the upcoming GT 8 Pro ahead of its official release. The Chinese launch is scheduled for October 21, and fans can expect upgrades in performance and battery capabilities.
The GT 8 Pro will come equipped with a larger 7,000 mAh battery, along with 120W wired charging, 50W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. Additionally, the phone will offer support for various non-proprietary charging standards, including 50W PPS PD, 44W UFCS, and 36W PD.
Despite the increase in battery size and the addition of wireless charging, the GT 8 Pro will be slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, weighing 214 grams and measuring 8.2mm in thickness.
On the performance front, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, coupled with a custom dedicated R1 gaming display chip. This chip enables Super Resolution rendering and frame rate boost, allowing for smooth gameplay at QHD resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate display.
Realme is also emphasizing the gaming capabilities of the GT 8 Pro, with optimizations for popular titles like Valorant Mobile, Delta Action, and Arena Breakout.
With these new features and enhancements, the Realme GT 8 Pro is shaping up to be a powerhouse of a device in the flagship smartphone market.
