Apple recently made an announcement that its popular streaming platform Apple TV+ will now be known simply as Apple TV. The rebranding was revealed alongside the release of F1: The Movie on the streaming service.
This change may cause some confusion as the name Apple TV will now encompass the streaming service, the app used for streaming, and the Apple TV 4K set-top-box device that Apple still offers for sale.

Apple TV+ has been rebranded to Apple TV with a fresh new identity. The movie, F1: The Movie, is set to make its global streaming debut on Apple TV, while also being available for purchase on various digital platforms like the Apple TV app, Amazon Prime Video, and Fandango at Home.
Although the name change has been announced, the Apple TV landing page has not been updated to reflect this alteration.
