Apple discontinues its compact video editing app - Clips, after eight years

Apple introduced Clips, its compact video editing app, which has now been discontinued. A notice on Apple's support page confirms that the app will no longer receive updates and is no longer available for download by new users. Existing and former users can still access and download the app from the App Store using their Apple Account. Clips initially showed promise as an app but has now been overshadowed by other video editing tools available on the market.
