If you're eager to experience Oppo's ColorOS 16 and OnePlus' OxygenOS 16, both built on Android 16, you now have the opportunity to participate in an open beta program. However, entry is not automatic as you must pass an eligibility quiz to gain access.
To check if you qualify, navigate to Settings > System & update > Software Update, then click on the three dots and select Beta Program.
This beta program is currently open for OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R, OnePlus 13s, OnePlus Open, OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, Oppo Find X8, and Oppo Find X8 Pro users.
Note that there may be restrictions based on your region, so not all users may have access. Keep in mind that beta versions can contain bugs and issues, so it may not be advisable to install them on your primary device.
ColorOS 16 is set to be officially unveiled on October 15th, while OxygenOS 16 will follow suit on October 16th. Stay tuned for more information on the rollout of stable versions on these dates.
