Qualcomm has recently acquired Arduino and introduced the new Arduino Uno Q along with the Arduino App Lab. The Arduino Uno Q features a "dual brain" architecture with a Linux Debian microprocessor and a real-time microcontroller powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing QRB2210 processor. This next-gen single board computer is designed to enable AI-powered solutions for smart home and industrial automation systems.
The Arduino App Lab, integrated with the Uno Q, offers an open-source system for ideating, prototyping, and scaling AI-powered solutions. It unifies the development journey across Real-time OS, Linux, Python, and AI flows. Additionally, the App Lab is compatible with the Edge Impulse platform for building and optimizing AI models for various applications.
This collaboration between Qualcomm and Arduino aims to provide users with advanced technology solutions and empower them to create innovative projects in the IoT and AI domains.
