The founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, has claimed that he was offered a deal by French intelligence to receive a more favorable outcome in court if he agreed to censor content on the platform. Durov stated that the authorities hinted they would speak positively about him to the judge if he complied with their request, but he found this proposition unacceptable and refused to entertain it.
