Recent leaks have unveiled the camera specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, showcasing some differences compared to the Pro model. While the Pro Max is expected to share the main camera and ultrawide with its smaller counterpart, it will feature a unique telephoto lens with a wider aperture for improved performance. The telephoto lens will offer 5x optical zoom with a 115mm focal length and a wider f/2.6 aperture, compared to the Pro model's f/3.0 aperture.
The main camera on the Pro Max is expected to be a 50 MP sensor with an f/1.67 aperture, while the ultrawide lens will have a 17mm focal length. Collaborating with Leica, these camera systems are anticipated to deliver impressive imaging capabilities. Both the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, set to be officially unveiled next week. The Xiaomi 17 series is scheduled for launch before the end of the month.
