The Meta Connect 2025 event revealed the launch of the Oakley Meta Vanguard, a new pair of smart glasses packed with advanced features. These glasses boast 3K video recording capability, upgraded speakers, and an IP67 rating for added durability.

The Oakley Meta Vanguard features the iconic visor design of Oakley and incorporates cutting-edge technologies, such as hands-free access to Meta AI and open-ear speakers that offer superior audio quality. The glasses are equipped with Oakley Prizm lenses in various color options.

With a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 122° field of view, the Oakley Meta Vanguard allows users to capture immersive first-person videos. The glasses support 3K video recording at 30fps, slow-motion, and hyperlapse modes.
Additionally, the Oakley Meta Vanguard is Meta's first IP67-rated AI glasses, providing water and dust resistance. The glasses offer activity sharing with Garmin devices and Strava, enhancing their functionality.
The Oakley Meta Vanguard boasts enhanced speakers that are 6dB louder than previous models, ensuring a premium audio experience for users. The glasses come with five microphones for improved sound quality.
Priced at $499/€549/£499, the Oakley Meta Vanguard is available for pre-order on meta.com and oakley.com, with open sales starting on October 21. The glasses will initially launch in select countries and expand to additional markets later this year.
