Following the introduction of a secondary screen on the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, Xiaomi has now confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 Pro will also come equipped with a secondary display. A video teaser shared on Weibo showcases both devices with the new back displays integrated into the camera island.
While specific details about the secondary screen's size and specifications have not been revealed, the teaser shows that the display will offer various functionalities such as watch faces, notifications, and a camera viewfinder. According to the Weibo post, the back display will be named "Magic Back Screen".
The addition of a secondary screen on the Xiaomi 17 Pro series follows Xiaomi's previous implementation of such a feature on the Mi 11 Ultra in 2021, which featured a smaller 1.1-inch AMOLED panel located in the corner of the camera island.
