Recently, industry insiders have revealed that Samsung is set to commence mass production of the Exynos 2600 this month. This chipset, based on the advanced 2nm GAA node (Gate All Around), is slated to power the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, including the highly anticipated Galaxy S26 Ultra, as per sources at Daishin Securities.

Samsung's utilization of the Exynos 2500 in the Galaxy Z Flip7 has already proven beneficial in terms of cost-saving and bolstering the company's LSI division. With the Exynos 2600, Samsung aims to replicate this success on a larger scale with the Galaxy S26 lineup.

Expectations are high for the Exynos 2600, especially after reports of promising Geekbench scores and the potential performance superiority of the Xclipse 960 GPU over Qualcomm's offerings. Furthermore, Samsung's innovative Heat Pass Block element is set to enhance heat dissipation from the chipset.

The success of the Exynos 2600 holds significant implications beyond the Galaxy S26 series, potentially attracting external customers to Samsung's foundries amidst rising prices at competitors like TSMC.
