Recently, details of Sony's highly anticipated IMX09E 200MP sensor for smartphone main cameras have surfaced, thanks to a leak from Digital Chat Station in China. This cutting-edge sensor is poised to revolutionize smartphone photography with its impressive specifications.

The IMX09E, which is set to be Sony's flagship sensor above the Lytia LYT-900, boasts a 1/1.12" size and features a native pixel size of 0.7μm. Constructed using a 22nm process, this sensor supports Hybrid Frame HDR, over 100dB ultra-high dynamic range, enhanced photosensitivity, and 2x and 4x full-pixel fusion 'lossless' zoom capabilities.

Excitingly, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to be the first smartphone to feature this groundbreaking sensor, with rumors suggesting that the vivo X300 Ultra may also incorporate it. Disappointingly, Xiaomi's 16 Ultra is rumored to not include the IMX09E sensor.
