New Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge Design Unveiled in Latest Renders

Source: Date:

A new set of CAD-based renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge have been leaked, showcasing a unique and unconventional design. The renders reveal the smartphone's dimensions to be 158.4 x 75.7 x 5.5mm, with a thicker camera island that increases the overall thickness to 10.8mm. Despite the chunky camera bump, the device will feature built-in magnets for full Qi2 support.

The display will retain the same 6.7” diagonal size as its predecessor, the S25 Edge, with similar bezels around the screen. However, Samsung has managed to increase the battery capacity from 3,900mAh to 4,200mAh in the new model. This enhancement may explain the unique design choice of the thicker camera island.

Previous leaks suggest that the Galaxy S26 Edge will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. Additionally, there may be a 50MP ultra-wide camera onboard, though no third camera is expected despite the larger camera bump.
