A recent report from data analytics firm TrendForce indicates that the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup is projected to outsell the current iPhone 16 models by 3.5%. The Pro versions are expected to drive the majority of sales, while the iPhone 17 Air may see similar initial shipments to the iPhone 16 Plus it replaces.
The iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max are set to come with 12GB of RAM and starting storage capacities of 256GB. On the other hand, the base iPhone 17 will feature 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Rumors suggest that the entire iPhone 17 lineup will include a 24 MP selfie camera and 48 MP rear cameras. The Pro models are also rumored to have a redesigned camera layout and improved software algorithms for enhanced optical zoom and image quality.
Additionally, reports hint at potential price increases for all models except for the base iPhone 17. However, conflicting rumors have arisen, adding uncertainty to the price changes. All will be revealed when Apple officially announces the new iPhones in just five days.
