Verizon is currently experiencing a widespread outage impacting numerous users, with many individuals reporting their devices being in SOS mode or satellite mode.

Reports indicate that a significant number of Verizon customers are currently without service.
As many as half of Verizon customers, and possibly more, are impacted by the service disruption. According to data from outage monitoring platform Downdetector, over 23,000 individuals have filed reports, highlighting the extensive nature of the issue.
While some users are completely without service, others are experiencing intermittent connectivity issues. Variations within households suggest that specific smartphone models may be affected. However, inconsistencies such as one user's device losing service while a similar device in the same household remains connected hint at potentially different underlying causes.
Verizon technical staff members have acknowledged the ongoing outage, impacting both phones attempting to activate eSIMs and random devices. A national outage affecting specific phone lines across multiple households has been confirmed, adding to the complexity of the situation.
