The Pixel 10 series has made its debut, but not all early adopters are singing its praises. Equipped with the powerful Tensor G5 chipset and innovative features like built-in magnets for Qi2 accessories and wireless charging, these phones come with high expectations. However, some users have raised issues with the device's weight, overheating during charging, and finicky charging capabilities.
During hands-on experiences with the Pixel 10 Pro XL, users have noted a significant increase in weight compared to its predecessor, the Pixel 9. The added bulk, especially in the XL model, has made the phone less comfortable for one-handed use.
Some early adopters have encountered problems with the device's wireless and wired charging functionality. Issues such as slow charging rates and overheating after wireless charging have been reported by users, sparking concerns about battery health.
Android Auto has also been flagged as unusable for some users, with Google acknowledging the issue and promising a fix in the near future. Despite these challenges, manufacturers typically address such issues in the initial weeks of a new phone release.
