Xiaomi has confirmed the upcoming launch of HyperOS 3, the latest OS update based on Android 16. The Chinese brand will officially reveal HyperOS 3 on August 28 at an event in China, debunking previous rumors about it being named HyperOS 26.
Luo Weibing of Xiaomi mentioned that HyperOS 3 will focus on enhancing UI smoothness and responsiveness. The brand will also release the first beta of HyperOS 3 immediately after the event for select devices, including the Xiaomi 15 series, Redmi K80 Pro/Ultimate Edition, Pad 7S Pro 12.5, and the Pad 7 Pro in China.
Interested users can register for the beta release through the Xiaomi Community Internal Test center.
