The process is user-friendly, requiring both parties to scan each other's QR codes to verify identities. Once completed, users can check the verified keys in the "Connected apps" section of the Google Contacts app. While full integration is yet to be implemented, the Messages app currently features a "Scan contact's QR code" option to facilitate key verification using the Android System Key Verification app already on users' devices.
