WhatsApp has recently unveiled a new voicemail-like feature for missed calls, adding to its list of convenient communication tools. This new feature allows users to quickly send voice messages to contacts who were unable to answer their calls, making it easier to follow up and stay connected.
When a voice call goes unanswered on WhatsApp, users will now see a "Record voice message" shortcut on the screen, alongside options to "Call again" or "Cancel". This shortcut will also be available in the chat with the contact, providing a seamless way to send audio messages without having to initiate a separate voice note recording.
Although this feature is currently only available for beta testers on Android, it is expected to enhance the user experience and streamline communication within the WhatsApp platform.
