The A19 Pro chip is anticipated to offer enhanced performance with more GPU cores compared to the standard A19 chip. Rumors also hint at the possibility of an A19 Pro variant with slightly fewer GPU cores, which could be utilized in the iPhone 17 Air. The current iPad mini model, launched in 2024, comes with the A17 Pro chip, the same processor used in the iPhone 15 Pro models. Recently, MacRumors uncovered clues in code inadvertently shared by Apple, hinting at the use of the A19 Pro chip in the next iPad mini model.
