Apple has recently introduced an enhanced Blood Oxygen feature for Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Series 10, and Apple Watch Ultra 2 users in the United States. This update will be available through iOS 18.6.1 and watchOS 11.6.1 software updates, allowing users to access the redesigned feature on their devices.
For those who previously did not have the Blood Oxygen feature due to a lawsuit, this update will now provide access to the feature. The Blood Oxygen sensor data will be monitored and calculated on the paired iPhone, with the results displayed in the Respiratory section of the Health app.
Existing Apple Watch users with the previous Blood Oxygen feature will not see any changes, and this update is specifically for users in the US.
