Google has introduced a new feature in Search that allows users to personalize their preferred sources for information. This feature, known as Preferred Sources, enables users to select their favorite websites and receive more content from these sources in the Top stories section of Google Search.
The rollout of Preferred Sources is currently underway in the US and India, with users being able to select their preferred sources by clicking on the icon next to "Top stories". Once selected, users can enjoy a tailored search experience with content from their favorite sites prominently displayed.
In addition to the Top stories section, users will also find content from their Preferred Sources in a dedicated "From your sources" section on the search results page. This feature aims to enhance user experience by delivering more personalized and relevant content.
Users have the flexibility to change their preferred sources at any time and can select as many sources as they desire. The customization options offered by Preferred Sources give users greater control over their search results and the content they engage with.
