Fairphone has recently released a new line of chargers and cables that prioritize sustainability and durability. The cables are made with 100% recycled materials, including copper wiring and plastics. With claims of being able to withstand over 70,000 bends, these cables are backed by a 3-year warranty. Additionally, Fairphone offers chargers that support various charging protocols and come with recycled plastics and metals.
The new USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 cables offer high durability and the ability to support a maximum power of 240W. The USB 2.0 version is available in both 1m and 2.5m lengths, priced at €19.95 and €24.95 respectively. The USB 3.2 cable, supporting up to 8K video transmission, is priced at €34.95 for the 1m version. Fairphone also offers a 30W USB-C fast charger priced at €24.95, with compatibility for various charging standards. Additionally, a 65W USB-C charger with dual USB-C ports and one USB-A port is available, but pricing and availability details have not been disclosed yet.
