The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is set to receive a significant upgrade in terms of memory technology compared to its predecessor. Renowned leaker Ice Universe has disclosed that the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra will boast of low-power double data rate 5X (LPDDR5X) memory with a remarkable speed of up to 10.7 gigabits per second (Gbps), sourced from leading memory producer Micron.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is anticipated to feature faster RAM technology as compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Galaxy S25 Ultra, alongside many other top Android smartphones powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Mobile Platform, currently utilizes LPDDR5X built on Micron's previous-gen 1β (1-beta) process technology, offering speeds up to 9.6 Gbps. On the other hand, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will benefit from Micron's advanced 1γ (1-gamma) DRAM technology, ensuring enhanced performance and efficiency.
