Poco, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has officially announced the launch date of the highly anticipated Poco M7 Plus. The smartphone is scheduled to be unveiled on August 13 in India and will be available for purchase through Flipkart. Along with the launch date, Poco has also revealed some key details about the design of the Poco M7 Plus.
The Poco M7 Plus features a USB-C port and a unique back cover design with a vertically-aligned camera island on the left. The camera island prominently displays "50MP AI CAM," confirming that the primary camera of the Poco M7 Plus will come equipped with a 50MP sensor.
In addition to the impressive camera capabilities, the Poco M7 Plus will boast a massive 7,000 mAh Si/C battery, setting it apart in terms of battery life. Positioned in the sub-INR15,000 segment, the smartphone is expected to offer great value for its price range.
While specific specifications of the Poco M7 Plus have not been fully disclosed by Poco, speculations suggest that it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi 15 5G. If these rumors hold true, the Poco M7 Plus may feature the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, a 6.9" FullHD+ 144Hz LCD display, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, an 8MP selfie camera, and support for 33W fast charging. Additionally, the smartphone is likely to come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.
