Huawei has introduced a unique approach to cooling technology in their upcoming Mate 80 smartphone, departing from traditional cooling fan placements seen in other devices like the Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro. Instead of integrating the fan externally, Huawei has ingeniously incorporated it into the large circular camera island of the Mate 80.
The air intake outlet is situated on the side of the camera island, showcasing a novel design that is currently undergoing refinement by Huawei. Despite the presence of the cooling fan, the Mate 80 Pro will feature water resistance, made possible by a waterproof structure integrated into the fan itself. The fan is described as small, high-speed, and equipped with miniaturized fins for efficient cooling.
Enthusiasts eagerly anticipate witnessing this innovative cooling solution in action and await Huawei's success in overcoming engineering challenges to bring it to market with the Mate 80 release later this year.
