Instagram has just unveiled some exciting new features for its users. The platform now allows users to Repost content, similar to Twitter's Retweet feature. Public reels and feed posts can be reposted, with the reposts being recommended to friends and followers in their feeds. Reposted content is credited to the original poster and can be found in a separate tab on the user's profile. Additionally, users can now opt into sharing their location with selected friends through the Instagram Map feature, providing a new way to connect and discover content from favorite creators in "cool spots". The platform also introduced a Friends tab in Reels to showcase public content that friends have interacted with.
