The durability of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 was put to the test in a rigorous examination conducted by JerryRigEverything. The Z Flip7, the latest model in the innovative Z Flip series, faced challenges to prove its robustness and strength. This test aimed to determine whether the Z Flip7 could withstand various pressures and potential damage, especially considering its thinner design compared to its predecessor, the Z Flip6.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 undergoes a challenging durability test
During the scratch test, it was found that the Z Flip7 features Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on its cover display and back panel. While the glass exhibited light scratches at level 6 and deeper grooves at level 7, it showcased its durability. The Mohs hardness of the display glass is highlighted in the phone's specifications for transparency.
However, the inner display proved to be more susceptible to scratches from relatively soft objects, which is a common issue with such screens. Despite some concerns about particles entering the hinge, the Z Flip7 is rated IP48, indicating water resistance and protection against large particles.
When subjected to the bend test, the Z Flip7 displayed its resilience by surviving attempts to bend it in the opposite direction. Although caution is advised regarding the inner screen, the Z Flip7 proved to be sturdy and capable of withstanding rough handling.
