Exciting news for Samsung Galaxy fans – not only is the S26 Edge getting a battery upgrade, but the Pro model is as well. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro will feature a larger battery with a typical capacity of 4,300mAh, a significant improvement over its predecessors.
Rumored to be code-named M1 with model number SM-S942, the S26 Pro is also expected to receive upgrades in other areas, such as a new camera sensor. While details about the sensor upgrade are still scarce, it is speculated that Samsung may introduce the ISOCELL GN5 sensor, known for its improved autofocus performance.
In addition to the battery upgrade on the S26 Pro, the S26 Edge is also set to receive a boost in battery capacity to 4,200mAh. This model, code-named M2 with model number SM-S947, is rumored to be even thinner than its predecessor.
