Last year, a rumor suggested a change in branding for the Galaxy S25 series, but that didn't materialize. These changes might finally come into effect with the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. Reports indicate that Samsung is planning to shake up the lineup by introducing Pro, Edge, and Ultra models, potentially marking the end of the traditional S series as we know it.

Since 2020, the S series lineup has followed a pattern of base, Plus, and Ultra variants. However, with the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, Samsung seems to be moving towards a new direction with the introduction of the Pro and Edge models. The Galaxy S25 series followed a similar pattern with models known as PA1 (S25), PA2 (S25 Plus), and PA3 (S25 Ultra).
