Recently, new official-looking renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A17 have been leaked, providing a closer look at the design of the device. The images showcase the phone in a dark gray / black color scheme, with one image displaying a different hue option.
The Galaxy A17 is expected to be released in a 5G version, although it remains uncertain if a 4G variant will also be available, similar to its predecessor. The renders confirm the presence of the Exynos 1380 SoC, a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50 MP main sensor, a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging support, and more.
Notable upgrades in the Galaxy A17 include the chipset and the inclusion of OIS in the main camera, a first in this price range for Samsung. The device is set to be officially announced in October and is expected to succeed the popular Galaxy A16 in terms of sales.
