OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has expressed plans to release GPT-5, which is expected to integrate various technologies within the company. One notable enhancement in the upcoming model could be the incorporation of reasoning capabilities as a core feature, eliminating the need for separate products like the o3 reasoning model.
Additionally, OpenAI is also set to unveil their open-weight model, with a tentative release date before the end of July. The company aims to introduce this model before the official launch of GPT-5, marking an exciting period for AI advancements.
